“I was first a player in Miko's games for several one shots - from DnD, to Daggerheart, to rules light systems - In all of these, Miko was a tremendous game Master who was knowledgeable about rules but also very player focused and able to engage everyone, which can be difficult with a group of players who do not know each other. These were also my first experiences with paid games. I was then very excited to join his Daggerheart campaign set in a custom frame/world, which has been fantastic - our table includes a diverse group of players, who had not played together before. His techniques for encouraging collaborative storytelling have resulted in all of us contributing to an exciting story that we look forward to continuing each session. “I regularly play in two games with Miko, one of which has been running for over a year. He is an incredible storyteller who creates detailed worlds to play in, and he works with his players to flesh out details so that everyone has a role in building the story.
Miko is also great at tailoring games for all age groups. One of our games features three adults and three kids as players, while the other is for six adults. Both games are age appropriate and designed to appeal to the tastes and interests of the groups. On top of that, Miko is always careful to check that players are comfortable with story elements and avoid topics or content that might be upsetting.
